“ Such a beautiful restaurant! Excellent service all round, Diego especially was really kind and attentive (excellent English for us Brits!) The food was incredible, lovely Mexican food, we had a mixture of the street food and mains. Each dish was amazing and fresh, such large portions as well. We cannot recommend this enough if you want a lovely special family meal on your holiday. Price was incredible too for such good quality food ”
“ Onora is a gem! My wife and I came twice! The food and service is unmatched and the atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxing with amazing food! Highly recommend pulling up to Onora when you’re at Puerto Cancun. ”
“ Amazing food and amazing service. Very welcoming and informative about the menu. I will be back. ”
“ My sisters and I visited Onora for a mole cooking class. The chef and host were very kind and patient in teaching us about the history of this complex sauce and its connection to Mexican culture. After helping with the mole prep, we were served mezcal drinks, delicious mole dishes and a dessert. The rice pudding dessert was amazing!! We left full of excellent food, knowledge and a deep appreciation for Mexican food and the culture. I highly recommend this cooking class and the food at Onora. Thank you for showing us a great time! :) ”
“ Raul was a great host. He was super knowledgeable about everything, food and Cancun. He recommended the lengua (tongue) and it was one of the tastiest dishes I’ve ever had. So many flavors that melded into a perfect dish. The flan was spectacular too with the ice cream and caramel. The little sopasitos or whatever were good too but that tongue was where it’s at. I forgot to take a picture of it but it was out of this world. Ate every bite of everything. I could barely walk out of the door for a grand total of about 45 usd with a beer. Worth every cent. ”
“ This spot is a real hidden gem in Cancun you don’t want to miss. We enjoyed the 3 traditional mexican dishes and the dessert so much it was a real firework of tastiness, they all come with the beautiful Mole. This restaurant could easily be added to the Michelin Guide. You can feel and taste that the flavor really comes from heart of the chef Alonso. It was such an outstanding amazing experience and we booked an extra lesson how to prepare the famous mexican Mole. We will always remember this incredible experience. ”
“ Diego was the best server ever! Truly some of the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. I had a wonderful time! ”
“ Excellent place to come eat with your family! Daniel was very friendly and provided great service. Definitely recommend you give this restaurant a try. Everyone enjoyed their food! The enrollado de guayaba y hoja santa is a must try! ”
